Library and storage
Manage uploaded PDFs and images, generated audio, and chat attachments in the commonplot Library, and check storage usage and upload limits.
The Library lists every file you own in commonplot: PDFs and images you upload, audio AI generates, and files attached in AI chats. Open it from the user menu with Storage.
Browse and search
- Filter by type: All, Image, PDF, Audio, Chat attachment
- Search library by file name
- Switch between Grid and List
- Upload adds new files directly
The top of the page shows how many files you have and how much space they use.
Storage and upload limits
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Storage | 500 MB | 25 GB |
| Uploads per day | 20 | 200 |
| Size per file | 10 MB | 10 MB |
Uploads, generated audio, and chat attachments share the same storage. Check usage in Settings → Plan & usage; commonplot warns you near the limit.
Delete files
Before deleting, commonplot shows how much space you will free. If the file is in any notebooks, it is removed from them too. Deleting cannot be undone.
If a document uses the file (for example, as an image), remove it from that document first.
Who can see these files
Library files are visible only to you and never appear on your public profile. Readers see an image only if you place it in a document and share that document.
